Ask us a question
What is WorktreeWise?

WorktreeWise is a desktop Git worktree manager and GUI for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Create and manage worktrees, open your IDE, run terminal and AI agent sessions, and automate commands across branches from one workspace.

Why use Git worktrees instead of switching branches or cloning again?

Git worktrees give each checked-out branch its own working directory while sharing the repository’s Git objects. Keep a feature, a bug fix, and a pull request review open at once without repeatedly stashing and restoring your work. Each worktree still uses disk space for its files, dependencies, and build output.

How is this different from the Git CLI?

WorktreeWise uses native Git, so your repository stays compatible with the Git CLI and existing tools. It adds a visual place to create, rename, move, lock, repair, and prune worktrees, inspect their health, and launch the right development tools. No repository conversion is required.

Can I run multiple AI coding agents?

Yes. Launch supported coding agents, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Antigravity, Qwen, Kimi, and OpenCode, in separate worktree sessions. Separate working directories keep their file changes apart. Agents still need their own installation and account; worktrees are not a security sandbox.

Can I automate commands across worktrees?

Yes. Create reusable workflows and run commands sequentially or in parallel across selected worktrees. Import or duplicate workflows and inspect execution logs. Pre- and post-creation hooks can handle recurring setup steps.

Does it work with my editor and operating system?

WorktreeWise runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux and can open a worktree in your configured IDE or terminal. The WorktreeWise JetBrains plugin helps preserve bookmarks, run configurations, and IDE context.

Is it useful for pull request reviews and QA?

Yes. Check out a pull request, tag, or commit in its own worktree. Review changes, run tests, compare versions, or try a different approach while your original branch remains open.

What happens after the included year of updates?

A one-time Pro purchase includes 12 months of updates and support. Keep using the latest version released during that window forever. Renew only if you want access to later updates and support.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes. Start a 5-day free trial with no credit card required. Try WorktreeWise with your own repositories before purchasing. Purchases are non-refundable under the current refund policy.
